Course booking terms and conditions
This page tells you (‘you’ means the booking party) the terms and conditions under which we (‘we’ or ‘CFS’ means Child Focused Solutions) provide training.  Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking training.  By booking training with CFS, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.  You are welcome to print these terms and conditions for future reference.

Booking
Bookings for training can be made via email: info@childfocusedsolutions.com.au or by contacting us on (02) 6140 5399.  When a booking is made, it will be deemed a provisional booking until full payment is received.  Provisional bookings will only be held until two (2) weeks prior to the training date, after this any provisional booking will be cancelled.

When payment has been received in full, the training will then be confirmed and a binding contract will have been entered into between Child Focused Solutions and the booking party.  Please refer to the Invoicing and Payment section below.

Description and pricing of training
Before booking a training course with CFS, please ensure you have read the training outline, to ensure it will meet your training needs.  You are welcome to contact us to discuss the training content if you are unsure.

Although we make every effort to ensure the prices listed are correct, mistakes may sometimes be made.  If a mistake is discovered in the price of the training that you have booked prior to confirmation of your booking, we will tell you and give you the option of either reconfirming your booking at the correct price or cancelling your booking.

CFS reserves the right to change prices listed without notice.  CFS also reserves the right to refuse to provide training to any individual or company.

Invoicing and Payment
Training fees are payable upon making a provisional booking.  Invoices will be sent via email to the name and address provided by the booking party and must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date or no later than two weeks prior to the training date, whichever date occurs first.

Payment is made by:

  • direct transfer to the Child Focused Solutions bank account, details of which are provided on the invoice.
  • cheque made payable to Child Focused Solutions and sent to: PO Box 5079, Garran, ACT.

 

Please note that we do not accept payment by cash.

Refunds
If the booking party cancel a booking, CFS will refund the fees paid according to the above cancellation policy.  Refunds will be made by direct bank transfer to a bank account provided by the booking party.

Amendments to Booking
There is no charge to transfer a booking of the same training to an alternative date provided CFS is notified in writing (via email) up to 2 weeks in advance, and there is availability.  However, a transfer fee of 20% will be payable if the request to transfer dates is received less than 2 weeks before the training date originally booked.  No more than one transfer is allowed.  Requests to transfer dates must be made in writing and can be sent by email to info@childfocusedsolutions.com.au

Cancellation by CFS
CFS reserves the right to cancel or postpone a booking.  If a booking is cancelled, CFS will advise the booking party as soon as possible, and offer an alternative if available.  The booking party can request a full refund instead of an alternative date.

All materials provided for CFS courses are owned by CFS.  No content in whole or part of the CFS materials may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed, linked to or used in any way without the prior written permission of CFS.  Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of the copyright and other intellectual property rights of CFS.

Complaints Procedure
CFS is committed to providing a high standard of service.  If a booking party is not happy with any element of the service received from CFS, they are encouraged to contact CFS directly to discuss this.
